Digital Marketing & SEO Manager

Job Description: 

We’re looking for a technical digital marketing specialist that is in tune with the inner-workings of what is involved in developing SEO and search marketing strategies with a background in account management spanning in a variety of industries.

Where You Focus: Managing online digital activities (SEO, Web Analysis, CRO, affiliates, and content strategies) for our clients is where you thrive. Your focus will be to determine and adjust the profitable digital channel mix based on performance data and client's needs, and outlining long-term, sustainable growth for clients.

Who You Are: You’re an experienced digital marketer, able to understand the connection of big-picture SEO strategies and website user experience that demonstrates the alignment of our marketing plans with each brand’s goals and objectives.


Your Role: 

Managing Success for Organic Search and SEO for our clients:

SEO Strategy, Technical SEO, Google Analytics, Website Analysis

  • Assist our team in setting search strategy of clients and implement strategies accordingly

  • Collaboratively work with our team to use research and data from the team to direct the content you lead for clients

Set our clients apart from competitors in search strategy and position them strongly for market growth and recognition across digital media channels


Specific Task Responsibilities: 

SEO Strategy Communications 

  • Direct content team on effective SEO for blogs, website copy and other digital content

  • Consult and answer questions for strategy with content and design teams to execute converting content for landing pages

  • Assist in leading Market research and persona research for targeting and brand strategy alignment

  • Set our clients apart from competitors in search strategy and position them strongly for market growth and recognition across digital media channels

  • Work closely with our leadership team to outline long-term, sustainable growth for clients through SEO and SEM strategies

  • Schema Markup and related high impact technical SEO tasks

  • Google Studio Reporting, utilizing our MoM and Yoy reporting templates with customized insights + takeaways for strategy for each client

Manage SEO Strategy Activities

  • Execute on-site and off-site SEO work

  • Research trends and keywords to inform the strategy 

  • Identify powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic

  • Write powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors

  • Develop link-building strategies

  • Analyze keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors

  • Keep updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines

  • Compile and presenting SEO guidelines to clients, training internal client marketing teams as-needed

Setting Up and Analyzing Data

  • Google Tag Manager and goal tracking analysis 

  • Gather and assess a wide array of data, ranging from customer feedback to surveys measuring brand recognition and engagement

  • Use analysis data to discover trends and insights that can then be used to develop a successful strategy

Assist in Account Management

  • Assist account manager with client relationships and account performance

  • Determine and adjust the profitable digital channel mix based on performance data and client's needs

  • Assist on outlining long-term, sustainable growth for clients

  • Review and analyze client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized

Collaborate with Digital Strategy Teams

  • Collaborate with branding, content and paid media teams

  • Directly oversee, and sign off on creative elements for SEO purposes to ensure that materials adhere to client guidelines and are in line with the current brand strategy


Key Requirements

  • Prior experience in digital marketing, online presence growth and SEO

  • Working knowledge of technical search engine optimization practices

  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

  • Ability to work within a team and independently

  • Strong experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience with website optimization tools

  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
