Part-Time Digital Marketing Assistant

Entry role, but experience is a plus


Job Description: 

Your role will be a digital marketing assistant, which means you will be filling in the gaps wherever our team members need support. This is an opportunity to tap into a variety of digital marketing areas to see where you’d like to focus in the future, and it will require flexibility, independence, and readiness to learn! We will make sure that you gain experience that will help you advance your career.

Where You Focus: Your focus will be mainly SEO and paid advertising, occasionally you might be supporting the content writing team. You will be involved in research, SEO optimization, setup and optimization of campaigns across various paid channels (Facebook, Google Ads, Pinterest, etc.), as well as reporting.

Who You Are: You are a fresh graduate or someone that is pivoting their career to a digital marketing role and already has some knowledge or experience around SEO, SEM, UX, CRO, and/or content marketing.


Specific Task Responsibilities: 

Assist our team in on-going SEO work

  • Keyword research to determine winning strategies for maximum visibility

  • Competitive research to set the clients apart and position them strongly for market growth and recognition across digital media channels

  • Optimization of technical SEO elements

  • Reporting on success metrics 

  • Assist the team in paid advertising across various platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, Pinterest, etc.)

    • Research to determine optimal channel mix

    • Campaign plans for each channel 

    • Determining KPIs and tracking strategy

    • Recommendations on budget distribution

    • Recommendations around creatives - specifications and content

    • Reporting on success metrics

  • Assist the team on content research and ideation for blogs and newsletters 

  • Assist on Web Analysis, CRO, PR, affiliate site outreach


Key Requirements

  • Prior experience in digital marketing is a plus

  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

  • Ability to work within a team and independently

  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills

  • Drive and proactivity

  • Reliability
